Turkmenistan Assists Evacuation of Foreign Citizens from Iran, Including Kazakhstani Citizens
Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Turkmenistan has facilitated the safe transit of over 100 foreign nationals from Iran, including citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Romania, and others.

According to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the country opened its border checkpoints to help foreign diplomats, their families, and other individuals currently in Iran exit safely. This move was made as part of an urgent humanitarian initiative in response to the region’s escalating instability.
Turkmen authorities provided evacuees with essential support, including transportation, accommodation, food, and basic supplies. The operation was carried out in coordination with foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Officials emphasized that this action demonstrates Turkmenistan’s firm commitment to humanitarian values, international cooperation, and good-neighborly relations—principles especially significant during the UN-declared International Year of Peace and Trust, initiated by Turkmenistan.
Meanwhile, reports continue of escalating conflict, with Iran recently launching another missile strike against Israel.
