Turkish National Detained at Astana Airport for False Security Claim
A 47-year-old Turkish citizen was detained at Astana International Airport after falsely claiming he was carrying prohibited items. The Transport Police Department reported the incident via its official press service.
According to the police, the man made the statement as a joke during the check-in process. Although the claim was unfounded, it caused delays and concern among passengers.
He was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
