Uzbekistan imported food products from 106 countries in 10 months

In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan imported food products from 106 countries for $2.8 billion, UzA reported with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

This figure has increased by almost 40% compared to the corresponding period in 2021.

Countries with a high share of food imports in 10 months of 2022 are Kazakhstan (36.2%), Russia (24.1%), Brazil (14.7%), Belarus (4.3%), Pakistan (2.0%), Ecuador (1.6%), China (1.5%), Türkiye (1.4%), India (1.3%), Indonesia (1.1%), and other countries (11.8%).
