In the first quarter of the year alone, civil courts reviewed over 17,000 divorce applications. Out of these, about 9,000 were approved, while around 6,000 were rejected for various legal reasons. More than 2,000 cases were either dismissed or halted due to procedural issues.
In addition to handling divorce proceedings, courts also issued nearly 299,400 orders related to the recovery of mandatory payments totaling over 2 trillion Uzbek soms (approximately $154 million). These payments include child support, wage debts, utility bills, and other financial obligations.
