Death Toll from Myanmar Earthquakes Exceeds 3,500
The death toll from two powerful earthquakes in Myanmar — with magnitudes of 7.7 and 6.4 — has risen to 3,564.

According to Anadolu Agency, the State Administration Council (SAC), which represents Myanmar’s military administration, announced that the number of injured has reached 5,012.
Rescue teams continue searching for more than 200 people reported missing. Myanmar’s Fire Services Department reported that ten bodies were recovered from the rubble of a collapsed building in Mandalay.
It was also reported that rescue teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and India have completed their missions and returned home.
Myanmar’s Department of Meteorology and Hydrology stated on Tuesday that since the devastating March 28 earthquake, 98 aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 2.8 to 7.5 have been recorded.
