Earthquake Recorded 323 km from Almaty
Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported that the National Seismological Stations Network recorded an earthquake on March 28 at 03:42 Astana time. The epicenter was located 323 km southwest of Almaty.

No casualties or damage have been reported. An operational headquarters has been set up to monitor the situation. Deputy Minister Batyrbek Abdishev held a meeting with regional units.
