
According to the presidential decree, April 2, 3, and 4, which follow the three-day Eid celebration, will also be considered public holidays.
“We have taken this step so that all Turks can spend time with their families during Eid al-Fitr, which coincides with the spring school holidays,” Erdoğan stated.
In previous years, Türkiye observed a 3-day holiday for Eid al-Fitr and a 9-day holiday for Eid al-Adha.
