During the meeting, economic and cultural ties were discussed, along with investment opportunities in the region, according to the press service of the Turkistan Region Akimat.
“Türkiye is our closest and brotherly nation. It was one of the first countries to recognize our independence. Relations between our two countries are at a very high level, and we are well aware of the deep respect our Turkish brothers have for Turkistan. Recently, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the Law on the Special Status of the City of Turkistan, which will give new momentum to the region’s development. In this regard, we invite Turkish investors to collaborate with us. Our special economic zone and industrial park offer various support measures. Our goal is to develop production and create new jobs,” said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
Ambassador Mustafa Kapucu expressed gratitude to the regional leader for the warm welcome and hospitality.
“The ties between Türkiye and Kazakhstan are very deep. Turkistan holds a special place for me as well. I always encourage our entrepreneurs and investors to focus on this region. We are ready to support the development of tourism, business initiatives, and the organization of a business forum for entrepreneurs from both countries,” stated the Ambassador.
