Uzbek Ambulance Driver Fired for Transporting Cargo

An ambulance driver in Uzbekistan has been dismissed for misusing an emergency vehicle for personal cargo transportation.

The press service of the Republican Emergency Medical Assistance Center reported that the incident took place on March 13, 2025, in Kokand, involving an ambulance assigned to Family Clinic No. 10.

According to Kazinform, the driver, G.A., was found transporting tree saplings in the ambulance. Following an investigation, his employment contract was terminated.

Additionally, the chief doctor of the clinic, F.M., received a disciplinary warning for failing to enforce proper vehicle usage regulations.
