Hungarian Investors Plan Major Feed Mill in Kazakhstan
Leading investors from Hungary-based UBM Group are planning to build a large feed and premix production facility in Kazakhstan.

The project aims to revolutionize Kazakhstan’s livestock sector, TuraNews.kz reports.
Project Details:
- Three factories to be built between 2025-2027.
- Annual production capacity of 48,000 tons of premixes and 300,000 tons of feed.
- Laboratory and training center will also be established.
Strategic Importance:
- Will significantly reduce Kazakhstan’s feed imports.
- Will contribute to the development of the livestock sector.
- Will reduce meat production costs.
Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Jumanğarin stressed that the project is critical to the country’s agricultural strategy. UBM Group shareholder Varga Akoş expressed their satisfaction with investing in Kazakhstan.
Local governments are working in cooperation to implement the project. The facilities are planned to be established in Kostanay, Karaganda and Almaty.
