Welcoming the guest, the Head of State noted the significance of this meeting for further strengthening multifaceted interstate relations.
“Your visit is of great importance in terms of further advancing our cooperation with fraternal Azerbaijan. Relations with Azerbaijan are very important to us. We consider your country a reliable strategic partner and ally,” the President emphasized.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the traditionally warm reception and emphasized the dynamic development of bilateral relations.
Taking the opportunity, Jeyhun Bayramov expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for their prompt assistance in connection with the tragedy related to the crash of an Azerbaijani Airlines plane in Aktau.
During the meeting, issues of implementing major strategic projects, including the laying of a fiber-optic communication line and a deep-sea electric cable along the bottom of the Caspian Sea, were discussed.
Prospects for further cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, digitalization, transit, and transport were also considered.
