A masterclass brought together gastroenterologists and endoscopy specialists, including experts from St. Petersburg, to introduce this cutting-edge technology. The innovative method allows painless, anesthesia-free examinations with high diagnostic accuracy.
The miniature capsule, incorporating advanced digital and microelectronic technologies, captures and transmits real-time images to doctors. It is sterile, single-use, and does not interfere with patients’ daily activities.
Recognized as the “gold standard” for diagnosing celiac disease, unexplained anemia, gastrointestinal bleeding, Crohn’s disease, and other conditions, video capsule endoscopy marks a new era in Uzbekistan’s healthcare system, making diagnostics safer and more efficient.
