Kyrgyzstan Plans to Introduce an Electronic System for Judge Selection
President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has outlined new tasks for the judicial system that need to be addressed within the next three years.

Speaking at the XIII Congress of Judges of Kyrgyzstan, Japarov emphasized that the judiciary must remain independent from political influence and external pressure. According to him, the judge selection system must be urgently improved to ensure transparency and reduce corruption risks.
— It is crucial to introduce an electronic document submission system to minimize the financial and time costs for citizens who would otherwise have to travel to the capital. Additionally, an automated data processing mechanism should be launched to speed up the selection process and ensure its fairness and accuracy. Furthermore, a personnel reserve for judicial candidates should be established to address various issues related to their professional training, — the president stated.
Japarov also touched upon plans to introduce the institution of private judicial officers as part of a state program. He stressed that the judiciary requires legislative initiatives aimed at strengthening the independence of judges, improving the efficiency of justice, and ensuring transparency in judicial operations. In this regard, the President of Kyrgyzstan called on the Supreme Court to actively exercise its right to legislative initiative.
