55-Year-Old Man in Türkiye Turns Cave into His Home
Ali Bozoglan, 55, who lost his home in the devastating Hatay earthquake, has been living in a mountainside cave for two years.

According to Habertürk, Bozoglan says he has found peace in isolation and turned down temporary housing offered by authorities.
— Not everyone can adapt to this lifestyle, but I am different from others, so I managed, — he said.

Local officials offered him a container home, but he declined, saying nothing could replace the tranquility of the cave.
— They were ready to provide me with a house anywhere, but I chose this place. I wash, clean, and cook here. I have good memories connected to this cave, — he explained.

He admitted facing difficulties due to the lack of electricity. Meanwhile, his wife and three children live separately and receive state assistance.
