Gold prices are rising in Uzbekistan

Today, the price of gold bars in Uzbek banks has risen, exceeding the previously recorded historical high.

According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the value of gold has increased by 11.1% since the beginning of the year. Currently, a 5-gram gold bar is valued at 6.32 million soums (approximately 245,113 tenge).

At the same time, the cost of a 50-gram bar is 63.23 million soums (2.4 million tenge), and the price of 100 grams of precious metal has risen to 126.46 million soums (4.9 million tenge). On the international market, one gram of gold is trading at $94.53.

It should be recalled that in January this year, Uzbekistan’s international reserves and gold and foreign exchange reserves increased and reached a record level.
