The first People’s Kurultai (Assembly) of the state scale has started in Bishkek on Friday.
The event is attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, state and municipal employees.
1 thousand 74 delegates will take part in it.
The participants of the meeting will discuss the questions: related to the work of state bodies and local governments;humanitarian and cultural development of the country; development of national culture, language and revival of the national heritage of the Kyrgyz people; preservation of traditions and heritage of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan; relations between the state and religious denominations; ecology and rational use of natural resources; resolution of interregional and interethnic disputes and conflicts; adaptation of national traditions and customs to the realities of modern life.
Based on the results of the kurultai, the resolution of the first People’s kurultai will be adopted.
