Last year, the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China signed an agreement allowing citizens to visit the two countries without a visa for 30 days.
At a press conference with media representatives, Shukhrat Yadgarov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways, spoke about the timing of the entry into force of this document.
- After March of this year, the agreement on a visa-free regime between our countries may come into force. Accordingly, the number of passengers will increase 10 times. Therefore, we plan to effectively use this opportunity and organize flights that meet all requirements, – said Shukhrat Yadgarov.
At the same time, the airline plans to open new flights from Tashkent to Shenzhen and from Fergana to Urumqi.
Recall that since January 20, Uzbekistan Airways aircraft have been operating flights to Europe bypassing Russia.
