Nurtöre Jusip: Expectations for further development of Kazakh-Turkish relations are promising

Nurtöre Jusip, Chairman of the Socio-Cultural Development and Science Committee of the Senate of Kazakhstan's Parliament, stated that Turkey is one of Kazakhstan's important partners and expressed, "The expectations for further development of Kazakh-Turkish relations are promising."

According to the Senate Press Service, Jusip visited the Turkish Embassy in Astana for an official meeting with Mustafa Kapucu, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing relations between the two countries in political, legal, trade, education, culture, and humanitarian areas.

Senator Jusip emphasized the importance of promoting regular parliamentary dialogue as an inseparable part of political dialogue and a foundation for trust-based relationships between the countries.

“Türkiye is strategically important for Kazakhstan”

Jusip noted that Türkiye is one of Kazakhstan’s strategically significant partners, stating, “Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, cooperation has developed very rapidly. A number of important government and interregional agreements have been signed, and significant dialogues continue, forming the basis for long-term cooperation.”

Jusip highlighted the active collaboration between Kazakhstan and Türkiye in student exchanges, cultural events, and scientific research, adding, “The expectations for further development of Kazakh-Turkish relations are promising. A key element is the mutual interest in historical and linguistic studies, which help strengthen the spiritual ties between the two peoples.”

Ambassador Kapucu expressed his determination to further strengthen and develop relations between Türkiyeand Kazakhstan in all areas.
