Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Türkiye is ready to carry out a large-scale military operation against PKK militants in cooperation with the Syrian government. The operation will proceed if the leadership of the YPG/PKK in Syria does not leave the country.
According to Turkish officials, Western countries are contributing to the instability in the region, directly impacting Türkiye’s security.
Hakan Fidan emphasized that the main objective of the operation is to eliminate the threat posed by the PKK, which is active in Syria’s border regions.
