Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan exceeds $3.8 billion
For the first 11 months of this year, Kazakhstan remains among the top three trade partners of Uzbekistan.
The country’s foreign trade turnover reached $59.4 billion, an increase of 3.6% compared to the previous year.
According to Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Agency, the neighboring country now trades with 195 countries worldwide.
For the first 11 months, China leads among Uzbekistan’s main trade partners, with a trade turnover exceeding $11.2 billion (19% of the total).
Following China is Russia, accounting for 18% of the trade volume, with a total of $10.6 billion in imports and exports.
Third in line is Kazakhstan, with a trade turnover exceeding $3.8 billion (6.5% of the total).
During this period, Uzbekistan exported goods worth $1.3 billion to Kazakhstan and imported goods worth over $2.5 billion.
As previously reported, Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization is nearing completion.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan plans to invest $43 billion next year.
Earlier, Uzbekistan’s Senate approved the country’s 2025 budget. Accordingly, the consolidated budget revenues are projected at 431 trillion sum (approximately $33.4 billion), while expenditures are set at 480.5 trillion sum (approximately $37.3 billion).
