President Tokayev Meets with Eurasian Economic Commission Chairman Bakytzhan Sagintayev
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). During the meeting, President Tokayev was briefed on the key priorities of the EEC’s activities.
According to the press-serivce of Akorda, the discussions focused on the current state and future development prospects of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), highlighting its ongoing efforts to strengthen regional economic integration.
Additionally, Tokayev was informed about preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, scheduled for December 26th in Saint Petersburg. The council’s meeting is expected to address critical issues concerning the future direction of the EAEU.
