Prime Minister Holds Emergency Meeting on President’s Instructions Regarding the Situation Around Ukraine

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, held an emergency meeting to discuss security measures in light of the situation surrounding Ukraine.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the President’s instructions, aimed at taking urgent actions to ensure the security of key military and civilian facilities. The leadership of the Ministries of Defense, Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations, Foreign Affairs, Health, Transport, Energy, Industry and Construction, National Economy, and Finance were involved in the discussions.

Prime Minister Bektenov heard a report from Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov on the ongoing efforts to protect strategic and infrastructure facilities and outlined a series of tasks to strengthen the actions of government agencies. Special attention was given to issues related to maintaining stability and public order, ensuring the safety of transport communications, and the operation of essential services.

The heads of the relevant authorities were instructed to closely monitor the implementation of the President’s security instructions and provide timely updates on any changes in the situation.
