Gaza Death Toll Reaches 43,846 Amid Intensified Israeli Attacks
Over the past 24 hours alone, six separate assaults across the Gaza Strip have claimed 47 lives and left 139 people injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 43,846 following a series of attacks by the Israeli military, Anadolu Agency reports.
The ministry’s statement, marking the 408th day of Israeli military operations in the region, highlights the worsening humanitarian crisis. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli airstrikes and ground assaults have caused widespread devastation, leaving 103,740 people injured and countless others displaced.
Rescue efforts remain severely hampered. The statement noted that many bodies remain trapped under rubble or scattered along roadsides, as medical and civil defense teams face significant barriers in accessing affected areas due to ongoing Israeli restrictions.
The escalating violence continues to exacerbate the already dire conditions for Gaza’s population, drawing growing international concern.
