Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry: Citizens Successfully Return from Lebanon

Kazakh citizens have returned home via Istanbul and Dubai.

From October 17 to 31, 2024, a total of 41 citizens of Kazakhstan were successfully evacuated from Beirut to Almaty and Astana, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press service.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the evacuation was organized at the direction of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and with the assistance of relevant state agencies due to the escalating tensions in the Middle East.

“This operation was carried out through Istanbul and Dubai, resulting in the successful transfer of 41 individuals from Beirut to Almaty and Astana between October 17 and 31, 2024,” the statement said.

The evacuation aimed to protect the rights and interests of Kazakh citizens remaining in the conflict zone.
