President Meets with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene, where he emphasized the need for both governments to collaborate effectively in order to implement the agreements made during high-level negotiations.
This was reported by the press service of Akorda.
“I am in your beautiful country on a state visit at the invitation of President Khurelsukh. Today, we have outlined the tasks facing our governments to ensure a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Mongolia. We urgently need major anchor projects that can significantly boost our economic cooperation,” the President stated.
President Tokayev highlighted the importance of advancing joint initiatives in sectors such as mining, agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism, and education.
In response, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene assured that the Mongolian government is prepared to begin the practical implementation of the decisions made by the heads of state. He noted that Ulaanbaatar is closely studying the development experiences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
