Earthquake Registered on Kyrgyz-Tajik Border
On October 20, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was registered along the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, according to the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The tremors were detected at 23:44, with the epicenter located in the mountains of the Zaalai Range. Specifically, it was situated 29 kilometers southwest of the village of Nura, 30 kilometers southwest of Ikezyak, 35 kilometers southwest of Irkeshtam, 34 kilometers southeast of Kok-Suu, and 35 kilometers east of Bor-Debe.
In the Kyrgyz villages of Nura, Ikezyak, and Irkeshtam, the tremors were felt with a strength of 3.5 points, while the villages of Kara-Kindik and Bor-Debe experienced tremors of 3 points.
