This cultural event offers residents and visitors of Ashgabat the opportunity to experience Kazakh cinema, music, and folk traditions. The opening event features the screening of Dawn of the Great Steppe (Uly dala tany), a historical film by Kazakh director A. Satayev, which highlights the Kazakh Khanate’s golden era. Another Kazakh film, Paralympic, will also be presented to the Turkmen audience.
The Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, named after Kurmangazy, will perform at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan as part of their “Saryarka” concert tour. Additionally, the “Melodies without Borders” concert by the group Saz&Soul, from the Kazakh State Academic Concert Organization Kazakhconcert, will take place at the “Turkmenistan” cinema and concert hall.
The main event, a gala concert featuring prominent Kazakh artists, will occur on October 9 at 19:00 at the Mukams Palace. The concert will include performances by notable figures such as People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Ramazan Stamgaziyev and Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Alisher Karimov, Rasul Zharmagambetov, Abylay Tlepbergen, and others.
