Iran Lifts Temporary Flight Restrictions, Airports Resume Operations

Airports in Iran have resumed normal flight operations after temporary restrictions on air travel were lifted on October 7.

The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran announced the lifting of these restrictions, which had been in place since the evening of October 6.

According to Jafar Yazerlu, a representative of the organization, the obstacles that had affected operations were successfully addressed, allowing flights to return to their regular schedule starting at 23:00 local time (22:30 Moscow time).

Previously, the organization had halted all flights nationwide from 20:30 Moscow time on October 6 until 05:30 Moscow time on October 7. The temporary suspension of flights was put in place as a precautionary measure.
