Aida Balayeva Meets with Türkiye’s Religious Affairs Chairman Ali Erbaş

Стороны обсудили аспекты сотрудничества в различных направлениях. Особое внимание было уделено укреплению совместной работы в сфере религиозного образования и расширения сотрудничества между университетами обеих стран.

Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva, held discussions with Ali Erbaş, Chairman of Türkiye’s Religious Affairs Directorate, to explore areas of collaboration between the two nations. The talks focused on enhancing cooperation in religious education and strengthening ties between universities in both countries.

Balayeva highlighted the deep fraternal bonds between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, rooted in shared traditions and values. She stressed that the ongoing partnership promotes not only common spiritual and cultural values but also helps to shape positive moral guidelines. She noted that all religions advocate for kindness, compassion, mutual respect, and love for others.

“In today’s world, it is crucial to provide clear explanations of religious matters, especially when engaging with younger generations. With the rise of harmful content on social media, we must ensure youth can distinguish between trustworthy intentions and misleading information. Joint efforts are needed to offer young people reliable and high-quality information,” Balayeva stated.

Ali Erbaş echoed the importance of these meetings, expressing confidence that they will further advance bilateral relations. He emphasized that Türkiye’s Religious Affairs Directorate actively collaborates with Kazakhstan, particularly in the education and social integration of students.

Both parties concluded the meeting by reaffirming their commitment to continue working together to promote spiritual and cultural values.
