Cooperation Among Turkic World Art Universities Expands

An international scientific conference titled "Musical Culture of the Peoples of the East: Principles of Creative Harmony in the Processes of Globalization" was recently held in Uzbekistan, led by TURKSOY.

During the conference, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev hosted a significant meeting aimed at promoting the musical heritage of the Turkic world and fostering mutual harmony. Rectors from art universities in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan participated, discussing ways to enhance the quality of art education, particularly in music.

At the meeting, the assembly approved key decisions for the “Union of Art Universities of the Turkic World,” an organization established by TURKSOY in 2023. The Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts, named after Yunus Rajabi, was unanimously accepted as a member of the Union.

Additionally, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Union of Art Universities of the Turkic World and higher education institutions from various countries. As part of this event, 12 cooperation agreements were concluded between institutions in China, France, Russia, Germany, Gambia, Oman, Jordan, and international research centers.
