Kazakh Athletes Set to Compete in Multiple Events on August 7 at the Olympic Games

Seven athletes from Kazakhstan are scheduled to participate in various events on August 7 at the Olympic Games, according to the official schedule published on the Games' website.

The events will take place according to Astana time:

  • 13:40: Bekarys Ramatullah will compete in the men’s single canoe 1000 meters qualification round in the canoe sprint event.
  • 14:00: Nursultan Tursynov is set to participate in the men’s Greco-Roman wrestling 87 kg preliminary rounds, with semifinals scheduled for 21:15.
  • 14:40: Sergey Yemelyanov will also compete in the men’s single canoe 1000 meters qualification round.
  • 15:37: Samirkhon Ababakirov will enter the preliminary rounds of the men’s 58 kg taekwondo event, with semifinals taking place at 19:36.
  • 15:45: Andrey Chugay will take part in the men’s sprint qualification in track cycling.
  • 22:11: Demeu Zhadraev will compete in the final of the men’s Greco-Roman wrestling 77 kg category.
  • 01:51: Nurbek Oralbay will fight in the final of the men’s 80 kg boxing event.
