She also emphasized the country’s rich resources, including rare earth metals, and its growing focus on clean energy.
Special Coordinator Matza noted the US commitment to invest up to $200 billion in Central Asia’s infrastructure through the G7 Global Infrastructure and Investment Partnership program. She emphasized the program’s aim to strengthen global supply chains by boosting trade between Central Asia and Europe.
Both officials expressed optimism about the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to work together to identify and develop significant infrastructure projects.
