The opening ceremony took place at the Palace of Forums and was attended by the wives of both presidents.
As part of the festivities, a gala concert was held for distinguished guests. The event featured the theatrical composition “Faces of the Nation,” performed by actors from the Kyrgyz and Uzbek drama theaters. Additionally, the Kyrgyz State Dance Ensemble “Ak-Maral,” named after Nurdin Tugelova, presented the choreographic composition “Ergime.” The folklore and ethnographic ensemble “Kambarkan” performed “Sagynam,” a piece from the repertoire of Musa Baetov.
The Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan will continue until July 22, 2024.
