Turkmenistan Seeks to Strengthen Economic Ties with Kazakhstan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his interest in deepening economic relations with Kazakhstan during a meeting with Kazakhstan's new Ambassador, Nurlan Nogayev.

In the discussion, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s desire to enhance trade and economic cooperation. Both leaders agreed that energy and transport sectors are promising areas for collaboration. They highlighted that the significant natural resources and strategic geographical positions of both countries provide great opportunities for mutually beneficial projects.

The meeting also underscored the positive cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within major international and regional organizations such as the UN, OSCE, OECD, and the CIS.

Ambassador Nogayev assured President Berdimuhamedov that he would work towards strengthening the traditionally friendly relations and expanding fruitful cooperation between the two nations.
