Organization of Turkic States Summit in Shusha: Focusing on Sustainable Development
The Organization of Turkic States is set to convene its summit on July 5-6 in Shusha, Azerbaijan, a city recently liberated from Armenian occupation. The summit, themed around "Building a Sustainable Future through Transport Connectivity and Climate Action," aims to foster high-level discussions on key issues and agenda items of the organization.
Announced by the OTS press service, the Shusha Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, initiated by Azerbaijani President Ilhom Aliyev, will gather leaders from member countries including Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Also expected to participate are leaders from observer nations and OTS Secretary General Kubanichbek Omuraliev.
The summit’s agenda underscores efforts to advance sustainable development through enhanced transport links and climate resilience strategies. Key outcomes are anticipated, including the signing of the Karabakh Declaration and other significant documents following the summit.
