Prime Minister of Pakistan to Visit Tajikistan
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will make an official visit to Tajikistan on July 2. This marks his first foreign trip since being elected prime minister.
The two-day visit comes at the invitation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. The details of the visit were discussed during a telephone conversation between the two leaders on June 16.
Pakistan and Tajikistan, both sharing a border with Afghanistan, have maintained active political relations since establishing diplomatic ties in 1992.
