The Embassy of Kazakhstan Represents the Country at International Festival of National Cultures in Baku

Kazakhstan's Embassy in Azerbaijan Participates in Cultural Festival at ADA University

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan took part in the International Festival of National Cultures held at ADA University, TuraNews.kz reports.

During the opening ceremony, ADA University’s Vice-Rector Fariz Ismailzade highlighted that this marks the 12th iteration of the festival, showcasing the university’s multicultural values and international community.

The festival drew over 500 participants, who explored the diverse cultures, national cuisines, histories, traditions, and tourism opportunities of the represented countries. At Kazakhstan’s booth, visitors were introduced to traditional Kazakh cuisine, household items, historical books, unique customs, and notable figures from the country. Additionally, attendees learned about Kazakhstan’s tourist attractions and scenic landscapes. The Kazakh exhibit garnered significant interest from both festival participants and Azerbaijani media.

The event’s concert program featured performances of Kazakh music, including the piece “Konil tolkyny” by renowned composer Seken Turysbekov on the dombyra, and “Ken zhailau” by the famous kuyshi Borankul Koshmaganbetov, set against the vibrant backdrop of the festival.
