Catastrophic Flood in Kyrgyzstan Claims Life of 10-Year-Old Boy
In Kyrgyzstan, a catastrophic flood has claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that mudflows led to the evacuation of residents from 300 houses in the Jalal-Abad region.
The mudflow occurred at 5:30 PM after heavy rain in the villages of Eski-Kochkor-Ata and Boston in the Nooken district. Rescuers, police officers, ambulance crews, and civil protection officers are currently working to address the aftermath of the disaster.
Tragically, a 10-year-old boy was found without signs of life at 7:10 PM by local residents.
