Both nations are currently preparing a series of events to coincide with the visit, including a Kyrgyz-Uzbek business forum and the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan, which will feature participation from the leaders of both countries.
In a related diplomatic event, on June 13, President Yun Seok Yeol of the Republic of Korea and his wife visited Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The visit was marked by the raising of national flags and the formation of a guard of honor.
