Uzbekistani Strongmen Set Guinness Record for Aircraft Towing Speed
Athletes from Uzbekistan have set a Guinness World Record for the speed of towing an aircraft. This remarkable achievement was verified by Guinness Book of Records Commissioner Mbali Masechaba Nkosi.
Six strongmen from Uzbekistan—Bekzod Khudoykulov, Sherzodbek Gainazarov, Farkhod Dadamukhamedov, Umid Khusanov, Bakhshulla Sayfullaev, and Abrorbek Fozilov—towed a Silk Avia aircraft weighing 13.5 tons over a distance of 100 meters in just 46.7 seconds.
Timur Sabirov, President of the Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness of the Republic of Uzbekistan, described this feat as “incredible” and expressed confidence that it will be “very difficult” to surpass this record.
Notably, the world record was set on their first attempt, with the original Guinness World Records condition requiring the task to be completed within 60 seconds.
