Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Resigns
Kurmankul Zulushev, the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan, has voluntarily submitted his resignation.
The resignation was confirmed by Askat Alagozov, the press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
President Sadyr Japarov is currently reviewing candidates from within the prosecutor’s office to appoint a new Prosecutor General.
Kurmankul Zulushev had been serving as the Prosecutor General since October 21, 2020.
