CEC Chairman Mazahir Panakhov announced, “According to the count, 6,326,764 people are included in the unified voter list in the country.”
Of these registered voters, 47.55 percent are men, and 52.45 percent are women.
Chairman Panakhov highlighted that the oldest registered voter is 134-year-old Tamam Alyovna Azizova, born in 1890. The oldest male voter is 108-year-old Hilal Ibragimov, born in 1915.
At the next meeting on May 2, Panakhov instructed the CEC to expedite preparations for the parliamentary elections.
“We should start preparing already. From January, the voter lists will be clarified,” Panakhov stated.
