State of Emergency Declared in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh Region After Deadly Mudflows

According to officials from the presidential representative’s office in the Osh region, efforts are underway to mitigate the consequences of the natural disaster and safeguard populated areas and agricultural lands from potential future mudflows.
Tragically, one person lost their life in the mudflows that occurred in the Osh region last week.
