The CIS Anti-Terrorism Center (ATC) announced this following the 17th meeting of the heads of national anti-terrorism centers of CIS member states in Moscow on Wednesday.
According to the ATC’s press service, the meeting delegates emphasized the importance of anti-terrorism exercises in assessing the effectiveness of counter-terrorism measures and enhancing joint cooperation. As a result, discussions were held regarding the organization and procedures for conducting the “East-Anti-Terror – 2024” exercise. Notably, this exercise will feature a phase conducted on Uzbekistan’s territory, marking a significant development in regional security efforts.
