Death Toll Rises in Gaza: 32,782 Lives Lost
In Gaza, where Israel has been attacking for 177 days, the death toll has risen to 32,782.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the loss of 77 more Palestinian lives and injuries to 108 others in the past 24 hours alone.
This brings the total number of deaths from Israel’s attacks since October 7 to 32,782, with 75,298 people injured.
Israel’s Occupation of Gaza: Escalating Tensions and Casualties
Following Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launching a comprehensive attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, tensions have escalated in the region. Hamas cited continuous violations against Palestinians and sacred values, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the basis for their offensive.
Israel reported significant casualties, with 1,200 deaths and 5,132 injuries resulting from the attacks on October 7 alone.
Since October 7, Israel’s assaults on the Gaza Strip have led to a devastating toll. A staggering 32,705 Palestinians, including over 14,280 children and 9,340 women, have lost their lives. Additionally, 75,190 people have been injured in the ongoing violence.
