October 25 – the Republic Day will be a national holiday in Kazakhstan
President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced that October 25 will be celebrated as the National Republic Day again.
Expressing that he suggested that 25 October will be given the status of a national holiday again during the university meeting held in Ulutav, Tokayev stated that he personally supports the Republic Day is being among the official holidays.
He also conveyed that the support of the people of Kazakhstan regarding the national holiday was one of the factors in taking this decision.
As of this year, 22 October will now be celebrated as Republic Day in Kazakhstan as a public holiday.
