Since the commencement of 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan has collaborated with the Skills Enbek platform to expand its array of free courses available in both Kazakh and Russian languages. A total of 44 new courses spanning diverse industries and skills have been introduced.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s press service confirmed this update, highlighting the duration of each course, which exceeds 36 hours. Online learning facilitates the acquisition of specific skills or additional competencies within various professional domains.

The newly added courses cover a broad spectrum, including construction, production, individual services, nutrition, and essential “soft” skills crucial for every profession. Courses in construction and production encompass topics such as equipment maintenance, water supply and sanitation operations, emergency repair, welding fundamentals, and turning basics.

Additional offerings include courses on sewing, service sector administration, hairdressing, cooking, baking fundamentals, confectionery, and caregiving for persons with disabilities.

Furthermore, courses focusing on soft skills—such as effective communication, critical thinking, time management, design thinking, business process management, and marketing analysis—are available. The platform also offers courses on working with Microsoft Office and developing environmental thinking skills.

Upon completion of a course, learners receive a certificate automatically displayed on their resume on the employment portal Enbek.kz, showcasing the acquired skills.

To enhance accessibility, course training is accessible via the Enbek mobile application, downloadable from Google Play and the App Store.

The Skills Enbek platform boasts integration with prominent educational platforms such as Yandex Kazakhstan, Astana Hub, Courstore, Fluent Education, and others. Additionally, it collaborates with the State Language Foundation, offering a promotional course titled “How to Learn the Kazakh Language from Scratch.”

Presently, the platform hosts a total of 477 courses across various domains, including 243 free courses, with nearly 380 thousand registered users benefiting from its offerings.
