The Kingdom of Sweden officially joined NATO on March 7 of this year, solidifying its membership by submitting the necessary documentation to the government of the United States of America. With Sweden’s inclusion, the alliance now boasts a total of 32 member nations.
Commencing at 12 noon, the Swedish flag-raising ceremony will take place at the NATO building, symbolizing the nation’s formal integration into the alliance.
