Fitr Sadaq Amount Determined for Ramadan 2024 in Kazakhstan
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims in Kazakhstan has announced that the fitr sadaq (charitable donation) for the year 2024 has been set at 640 tenge.
In accordance with the Islamic calendar, the holy month of Ramadan is scheduled to commence on March 11, with Oraza Ait (Eid al-Fitr) falling on April 10, and the Night of Predestination (Laylat al-Qadr) observed on the night of April 5-6.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims in Kazakhstan emphasized that the commencement date of Ramadan was established following consultations with scholars from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other nations. This collaborative effort ensures consistency and alignment with Islamic practices across various regions.
