As reported by the Kazinform news agency, as part of the preparation for this significant event, landscaping and greening work is planned in the areas where the competitions will be held in spring. The aim is to complete these works by July.
Among the main objects slated for renovation, the mayor mentioned public spaces, including the park at the “EXPO” site, Kabanbai Batyr Avenue (from Syganak Street to the Kazanat Hippodrome), as well as the expansion of Konayev and Dostyk streets.
Zhenis Kasymbek also noted that a concept for greening the territory of Astana has been developed, consisting of two parts: the improvement of public spaces and public landscaping.
It is worth reminding that the V World Nomad Games will take place in Kazakhstan. In these games, scheduled for September 8-14 in Astana, athletes from more than 100 countries will participate.
